Laugh more often, it can help fight stress and sorrow, even a fake smile can help. Choose a life partner with good understanding level and intelligence to stay happy for life. Maintain relation with positive and optimistic people, avoid and disconnect with energy-sucking parasites from your life. Never hold a grudge, it'll ruin your mind, energy, and soul. What is life too short for?

Spending time  in damaging relationships  — whether its parents, partner or friends, put yourself first. Trying  to please everyone  — by doing meaningless favors, making decisions based on other’s opinion, etc. Pursuing  a career that you don’t care  about — to make your parents happy or to fit into society. Procrastination —  waiting for the day  when you will finally start crushing your goals. Avoiding pain  — not taking risks, staying in your comfort zone, not working enough, etc. Unconsciously watching Tv, movies, social media — trying to  escape the reality  of your life. Never growing as a person, realizing your potential — just  being okay with a mediocre you. You wouldn’t give away your money for free, then why do you give away your time — giving it away to  people you don’t like. Working a 9–5  job that you hate  but never making efforts to get out of it. Above all, not pursuing true joy and f...

How reading can help you succeed in life.

He makes time for it. Buffet once gave students in an investing class at Columbia University the following advice: "Read 500 pages like this every day," Buffett said to the students, while reaching toward a stack of manuals and papers. "That's how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest. All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it." Well, we can all build up that knowledge. But are we really doing it? Warren Buffett says, “I just sit in my office and read all day.” What does that mean? He estimates that he spends 80% of his working day reading and thinking. This leads to what is known as the  Buffet Formula: “Going to bed smarter than you woke up.” Why is that so important? We’ve been recording knowledge in books for a long time. That means there’s not a lot that’s new; it’s just recycled old knowledge. Odds are that no matter what you’re working on, someone somewhere, who is smarter than you, has...

20 Tips to stay good looking

1. Take shower everyday. Every day, and not just after some hard physical work. 2. Change your socks everyday. Yes, you got it right. Wear clean socks every morning. 3. Trim the hair in the nose and ears (if any). 4. Wear a clean shirt or jersey every day. I repeat, clean fresh shirt. Every day. 5. Apply antiperspirant on clean armpits. Yes, exactly, only on clean washed armpits. 6. Clean your shoes. A beautiful well fitted suit looks disgusting with dirty shoes. 7. White socks look appropriate only with joggers. Yes, not with shoes and not with black pants. 9. No socks with sandals, flip-flops, etc. 10. If you have a big belly - don’t wear tight-fitting shirts. 11. Don’t blow your nose and expectorate on the street in public. 12. Do not eat garlic before work. Have pity on the people. Please! 13. Watch the length of the pants. Neither too short nor too long. One fold in the front is the rule. 14. If you are going bald, accept it. Don’t hide the bald patch behi...

What type of women should you never date / marry?

Don’t marry a woman who knows how to spend money. Marry one who knows how to save it. I know nothing is hotter than a girl who knows how to dress well, buy you nice gifts, etc, but look at the flip side. Would you rather come home every day to find $100 missing from your wallet… or to find an extra $100 in it? Marry the woman sliding that money into your pocket, not the one sneaking it out. Marry a woman who loves you for who you are, not one who loves you for who you’re going to be. My grandpa had a saying I’ve always valued. “Men marry thinking everything is going to stay the same. Women marry thinking everything is going to change.” If she expects you to change, she won’t ever be happy with who you are now. Ditto for bossy women. Bossy is a good attitude for work, it’s not something you bring home. You want to be her husband, not her janitor. Don’t marry a woman with no goals. Marry one whose goals you can help her reach. A person with no goals is a ...

16 Things Everybody Should Stop Doing In Order To Be Successful.

Often in life, to be successful it doesn’t require doing more. It requires you to stop. To eliminate the waste in your life. In a culture hardwired to “do it all”, it can be counterintuitive to do less. It goes against everything we’ve been told to do. Try harder, do more. One man that lived nearly 2,000 years ago learned to implement the subtle art of elimination. By ceasing to do many “normal” habits and behaviors, he was able to overcome enormous challenges. Marcus Aurelius, emperor of Rome from 161–180 AD, had unprecedented access to all the riches of Rome as emperor but due to his position, he also bore the weight of the entire empire. His entire life was met by hardship and unfathomable situations requiring decisions that would make most men crumble under the pressure. Loss of loved ones was a constant throughout his life: his parents at a young age, his wife, and even several children at a very young age. Throughout his reign, he witnessed the devastating effects of...
